Plans and priorities

Fencing has become a dirty word lately - between an on-again-off-again work schedule and the rain or waiting for it to dry out enough after the rain, our fencing plans keep getting delayed.

But we finally got to start working on the fence. Our goals have switched-up a little as the reality of field-fencing in 16 lumpy, brush-covered acres is not going to be an easy or cheap task, so for now, we need to get a buck pen built, and fence, upgrade and fix the existing fence around the property so we can turn out the beef cows instead of feeding them our rapidly dwindling supply of hay.

THEN - we will start working on field fencing in separate pastures! It will happen, just in a different time frame than originally planned.
