My husband and I are both hunters and it is just one more reason I am so thankful to be living again where we do because of the access we have to hunting - which was not something that we could participate in as much when we lived in the valley.
Last year our son took his Hunter's Safety course. He passed it with 100%!!! We are so very proud of him for studying so hard and also for taking the information he was taught to heart.
We only had a couple days to hunt last year right before we moved to Montana. We didn't see many deer and none of us got a chance for a good shot.
This year we were not able to go on opening day of deer season, and had to wait for the weekend to go hunting. We were determined to give our son the opportunity to fill his tag and luckily he was able to do so!
My pride and gratitude know no bounds that our son was able to provide food for his family, continuing a tradition passed down from generation to generation.
